  • Base of Submarine & NukeSub reverted to vanilla.
  • +50% vs Capital Ships for Submarine & NukeSub.
  • 70 defense Carrier (was 30).
  • Unit maintenance reverted to /50 (was /75).
  • -1 +1 on Coasts.
  • 29 Cannon (was 31).

    What was the reasoning behind the massive defense boost for Carriers? I thought they were meant to be semi-weak against attacks, and thus had to be defended with other ships.

    Love the mod btw, can’t play without it. 😀

    • Carriers require a big investment in resources. They consume both oil (carrier) and aluminum (aircraft). In real life carriers are also difficult to sink. At 70strength they’re still weaker than battleships (90strength) but don’t get instakilled anymore. This especially helps the AI, who is not very good at protecting ships.

    • Yep, the changes I’ve been making lately are simple data edits that take just an hour or two per week, much less time than the complex stuff I was doing before. 😉
