    As always thank you for the great work Thal.

    Some little bugs I noticed so far (version 136):

    – CIty-state messages don’t show when using the “standard” button (the message just closes, instead of opening).
    – Science Icon in “opportunities” doesn’t appear (while e.g. it does for gold).

    • Thanks for reporting this. I’ve fixed the science icon now.

      I have not figured out a good solution for the citystate quest things. I want that notification to not block the “end turn” button because it’s unimportant. However, some of the notification code is in the game core we don’t have access to. I’ve been trying different approaches to this, and will eventually come up with *something* that works. In the meantime you can always check what citystate quests are available on the Diplomacy dropdown at the top-right of the screen. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hate to nag, but I still see no Battle Animations. Currently I’m only using your mod as well… I tried disabling CivUp a while back and I’m pretty sure that solved it. So yeah, there’s something in there. And it’s mighty annoying.

    • Did you set “Play Combat Animations” to 1 in the Options file?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I don’t really understand the Options-file… It says “INSERT INTO CiVUP (Type, Value)
    VALUES (‘PLAY_COMBAT_ANIMATIONS’, 0);”

    What exactly does that mean? Where and how do I insert it?

    • It explains it just above there:

      Play Combat Animations
      1 = play animations (no quick combat)
      0 = skip animations (quick combat)

      So if you want to play combat animations, change it from 0 to 1. ๐Ÿ™‚
