    Is there supposed to be a BarbarianBonus parameter to modify (via the options file) in the WWGD HandicapInfo?

      The “show AI priorities” toggle in the options file does work (and is probably the most insight I’ve ever gotten into why the AI does what it does, thank you!), however, minimum city build radius I changed to 3 and it had no effect on Hiawatha every 2 hexes city spam. So my feedback is that the options file needs a functionality lookover, perhaps.

      In an unrelated matter, I have been truly enjoying the most recent rounds of changes. I didn’t know I wanted it, but I actually cheered out loud for the nonobsolete artillery change. You mean I can have a few ranged units to defend contested cities AND still own a couple aircraft? Yes please.

      • I’ve found a second “min city range” value in VEC_General.xml, which I’ve deleted. You might try removing it and then seeing if the one in the options file works. I suspect they were overriding one another.

    • It’s located in /VEM/Barbarians if you want to fine-tune it. The variable in the Options file will override the stuff in the Barbarians folder.

    for some reason i cant seem to play team games on this mod, is that intended or a bug?

    i like playing doubles with an AI on my team or even 2 teams of 8 sometimes and i’d love to play this mod with that setup

      Upon further testing i found it isnt team games that crash the game its just the map type four corners, sorry about that XD

    It looks to me like the BarbarianBonus value is set in VEM\Barbarians\VEB_General, and not HandicapInfo. Still looking for the place where minimum city distance parameter is actually set.

    Self-correction. The setting for BarbarianBonus *IS* in VEB_General.xml, but the parameter heading (in that file) IS HandicapInfos. I give. There is no point in spending an hour troubleshooting this when you probably know how to verify it without having to look at the .xml files at all.

    • I put all the barbarian stuff in one folder to make it easier to adjust various settings at once. 🙂
